Aston Martin has officially unveiled its new Vantage GT3 for 2024, marking its global debut at the same time as the new road-going Vantage model. This unveiling comes after the Vantage GT3’s successful race debut at the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona and before its upcoming race in the FIA WEC in Qatar. The 2024 Vantage GT3 represents a significant evolution from the retired Vantage AMR GTE and GT3 cars, maintaining the same bonded aluminum chassis structure and twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine as the new Vantage road car.

The new GT3 features a comprehensive aerodynamic package, revised suspension, and state-of-the-art electronics. The large one-piece carbon fiber clamshell nose with a quick-release design houses a full-width laser light and a shorter splitter. The new model complies with all FIA GT3 class regulations and is the first product of a collaboration between Aston Martin Racing (AMR) and Aston Martin Performance Technologies (AMPT). The car has undergone an extensive test program, which included more than 12,000 kilometers of running and a 30-hour test with factory and amateur drivers.

Aston Martin claims that the new Vantage GT3 is designed to address the old car’s challenging handling characteristics, with a focus on increased performance and drivability for both professional and amateur drivers. The company is targeting 30 customer deliveries in 2024, with a base price of £575,000 and a cost-per-kilometer figure in line with the previous model. The new GT3 has already been confirmed for racing programs in IMSA GTD, FIA WEC, and GT World Challenge Europe, signaling a strong start for this highly anticipated model.

Overall, Aston Martin is setting its sights on creating a truly state-of-the-art GT racer, emphasizing a closer relationship between its road and race programs and aiming to build upon its extraordinary track record in endurance racing. The Vantage GT3 has been met with enthusiasm from leading GT racing teams and is poised to make an impact on the world’s greatest endurance races.
