A United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Mexico City had to make an emergency landing in Los Angeles due to a hydraulics issue, marking the fourth emergency involving the airline in the past week. The plane, carrying 110 passengers, landed safely at Los Angeles International Airport with no injuries reported. Fire engines were on standby but were not needed, according to the Los Angeles City Fire Department.

This incident comes after another United Airlines flight in Houston rolled off a runway and got stuck in the grass, while another flight in Los Angeles had to make an emergency landing after losing a tire during takeoff. In addition, a United flight from Houston to Fort Myers had to turn around after one of the plane’s engines caught fire. Despite these emergencies, there were no injuries reported in any of the incidents. The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the latest incident involving the emergency landing in Los Angeles.

United Airlines has stated that passengers on the flight to Mexico can travel on another plane expected to depart later on the same day. The airline also mentioned that the Airbus A320 involved in the emergency landing has three hydraulic systems for redundancy purposes, and preliminary information suggests that there was only an issue with one system on this particular aircraft. With various incidents involving United Airlines flights this week, passenger safety remains a top priority as authorities work to investigate and address the issues encountered.
