Boeing Increases Offer to Striking Factory Workers
On Monday, Boeing announced an enhanced proposal to the striking factory workers, aiming to conclude a work stoppage that has significantly disrupted production for over a week. The company labeled this proposal as its "best and final" offer to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) union. This new offer includes increased wages and benefits aimed at addressing the concerns raised by the union, which represents a substantial portion of the workforce involved in the industrial action.
