Sony has announced the addition of seven more games that will receive enhancements for the upcoming PS5 Pro, slated for release on November 7th. These newly revealed titles include Stellar Blade, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, F1 24, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard. This update increases the confirmed lineup of enhanced games to 20.

Subsequent to Sony’s initial YouTube livestream unveiling, further examination has confirmed that the PS5 Pro offers noticeable graphical improvements over the original PS5. This is particularly evident in games that previously experienced performance compromises, such as Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

Games explicitly patched for the PS5 Pro are expected to no longer force players to choose between a smooth 60 frames per second (fps) and high detail levels. The advanced capabilities and AI-enhanced "PSSR" upscaling of the PS5 Pro should enable both high resolution and high frame rate modes concurrently, a significant upgrade from the original PS5.

Sony has not yet disclosed the specific resolutions or frame rates at which each of these enhanced games will operate internally. However, the company anticipates that between 40 and 50 games will receive PS5 Pro patches by the system’s launch. Additionally, the PS5 Pro remains compatible with non-patched PS4 and PS5 titles, some of which may benefit from increased performance in a Boost Mode.
