“Fortnite” is introducing new controls enabling parents to set time limits on their children’s gameplay. These controls will allow parents to determine the amount of time their child can play “Fortnite” daily, specify time windows during which gameplay is permitted, and decide whether their child can request additional playtime.
When time limits are activated, children will receive an in-game notification when they have 30 minutes of gameplay remaining. The time spent playing Epic Games-created “Fortnite” modes such as Battle Royale and “Lego Fortnite,” as well as creator-made experiences using the Unreal Editor for “Fortnite” (UEFN), will be tracked.
Additionally, parents will have access to a Time Reports dashboard, which provides information on the duration of their child’s gameplay.
