Apple has announced new enhancements to its Apple Business Connect program designed to benefit consumers. Among the notable additions is Business Caller ID. Set to launch next year, this feature will enable companies of all sizes to register their name, logo, and department information, which will be displayed when contacting customers. This functionality aims to help consumers differentiate between legitimate business calls and spam.

The Apple Business Connect program provides companies with greater control over their appearance in various apps within the Apple ecosystem. In 2023, Apple allowed businesses to customize their listings in Maps, Messages, Siri, and Wallet. The recent updates extend these branding tools to any company, including those without physical store locations. Apart from the Business Caller ID introduction, the program also includes the addition of brand information in the Mail and Phone apps. Participating businesses will also be able to incorporate their logos into the Tap to Pay feature for contactless payments.
