Over a year has passed since the collaboration of Peter Parker and Miles Morales for their major crossover game on the Sony PlayStation 5. It has now been announced that these characters will arrive on PC at the beginning of the next year.
Sony revealed at New York Comic Con that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be available on PC on January 30, 2025, through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Attendees of the event were the first to receive this announcement and also had the opportunity to view the new trailer for the game’s PC adaptation.
The PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be offered in two editions, both providing numerous additional features and benefits for PC users. The “Standard Edition” includes the complete game along with all PlayStation 5 updates, such as 14 new suits, “Ultimate Levels,” various symbiote suit styles, and an action figure mode in the photo mode. Meanwhile, the “Digital Deluxe Edition” offers five exclusive new suits each for Peter and Miles, early access to Peter’s Arachknight suit and Miles’ Shadow-Spirit suit, the web grabber gadget, and extra items for the photo mode.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 features the iconic duo from the Spider-Verse navigating an expanded version of New York as they confront an extensive list of adversaries typical of comic book-based games. Among these villains are Kraven, Black Cat, and Scorpion, although further appearances remain undisclosed. A highlight for many fans is the inclusion of the deep-voiced, notorious symbiote, Venom.
