The Season of Blood will require players to utilize the power of vampirism to defend themselves against the Blood Seekers. Additionally, the Echo of Duriel Boss fight will provide a challenging test of skill and ferocity.
The Season of Blood brings several highly requested features to the game. Five new endgame bosses have been added across Sanctuary, providing players with better opportunities to obtain specific unique and uber unique items. Each boss has its own exclusive drops, including unique cosmetics. The update also reduces the time between Legion Events and enhances the frequency of World Boss fights. Moreover, players can expect increased gold and experience rewards from various activities, making leveling faster and more enjoyable.
The Nightmare Dungeons have also been revamped, with several updates aiming to streamline gameplay and improve the overall experience. Dungeons now have clearer objectives, and dungeon layouts and monster placements have been redesigned to minimize backtracking. Traps have been visually enhanced for better readability, and the overall monster density in Dungeon Events has been increased. Additionally, several item adjustments have been made, such as freeing up inventory space by allowing gems to be taken to a Jeweler for crafting and reducing the chance of being locked into certain stats on Legendary items.
