Moving forward, Yuga Labs will prioritize community building, its Otherside metaverse project, and securing brand partnerships.
Nike’s Web3 unit, .Swoosh, has unveiled its first physical sneaker line named the Air Force 1 Low Tinaj. These sneakers are exclusively available to .Swoosh members who purchase and open at least one OF1 Box nonfungible token (NFT) before October 16. The OF1 Boxes can be purchased for $120 on the .Swoosh website. While the exact number of available sneakers has not been disclosed, opening an OF1 Box that doesn’t grant access to the Tinaj shoes will provide other benefits and access to future drops.
The Mythos Chain, a gaming-focused blockchain, has surpassed Polygon and Solana to become the second-largest blockchain in terms of NFT sales volume over the past 30 days. With $33.5 million worth of NFT sales volume over this period, Mythos Chain has experienced a 20.31% increase. The surge in trading volume is largely attributed to DMarket, an NFT marketplace affiliated with Mythical Games. One game contributing to the increase is Nitro Nation World Tour, a Web3 mobile street racing game supported by DJ Deadmau5.
Starbucks has released a collection of Pumpkin Spiced Latte NFTs on the Nifty Gateway marketplace. Priced at $20 each, the NFTs are part of Starbucks’ Web3 loyalty rewards program called Starbucks Odyssey. Customers can collect NFT stamps, such as the Pumpkin Spice Latte, to earn points and exclusive rewards. So far, Starbucks has sold 1,213 NFTs, amounting to nearly $25,000.
