After facing controversy and complaints about overheating issues in the iPhone 15 Pro models, Apple has released a software update, iOS 17.0.3, to address the problem. The update also includes bug fixes and important security updates, along with clarifying that the titanium casing is not the cause of the overheating. Apple is also working on more significant software updates, such as iOS 17.1, which is expected to be released later this month.

In addition to the iOS updates, Apple has released the second beta of iOS 17.1 for developers and public beta testers. The beta version includes new features and changes, and it is expected that there will be more beta versions before the final release. On another note, iPhone 15 owners who also own BMW cars should be cautious about using the vehicle’s wireless charging pad, as some users have reported issues with their iPhone’s NFC chip not working after using the charging pad.

In the wearable tech realm, the second beta of watchOS 10.1 has been released, adding support for the Double Tap feature on the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2. This feature allows users to perform various actions on the watch, such as stopping a timer or answering a phone call, by tapping their index finger and thumb together. Meanwhile, the original Apple Watch models, including the high-priced gold edition, have been declared obsolete and are no longer eligible for repairs or service.

Overall, Apple is actively addressing issues and providing updates for its devices to ensure a smooth user experience. With new software updates and features on the horizon, users can expect improvements and added functionality in the near future.
