Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris each hold 49% support among likely voters just days before the U.S. presidential election, according to a recent national survey by Emerson College. This poll indicates a slight shift from early October, when Harris had 50% support compared to Trump’s 48%.
The economy remains the primary concern for voters, cited by 45% of respondents. Following this, immigration and threats to democracy are each viewed as the top issue by 14% of voters, while abortion access, healthcare, and crime concern 7%, 6%, and 4% of voters, respectively.
The survey gathered data through phone interviews with approximately 1,000 likely voters and carries a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
