Consumers who have purchased 5in1 Rocker Bassinets have been warned to immediately stop using the product due to safety hazards. The bassinets do not meet the safety requirements of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and pose risks of suffocation and falls for infants. The company responsible for distributing the product is not cooperating with the CPSC recall. The bassinets lack required markings, labeling, tracking labels on the packaging, and instructions.

The 5in1 Rocker Bassinets, sold online at Walmart.com and other websites, have green and gray color schemes. The packaging includes markings indicating various functions of the product. Consumers who have purchased these bassinets are advised to disassemble and dispose of them immediately. While the CPSC’s Infant Sleep Products Rule applies to products manufactured after June 23, 2022, the CPSC urges firms to stop selling noncompliant products produced before that date.

The bassinets are imported by Rev Grace Import, Inc. of Pleasant Hill, Missouri. However, the company is not cooperating with the recall and has not provided a remedy to affected consumers. In addition to warning about the hazardous bassinets, the CPSC reminds parents to follow safe sleep practices for infants, such as placing them on firm, flat surfaces without blankets or stuffed animals. The American Academy of Pediatrics also recommends that parents sleep in the same room as infants for the first six months but avoid cosleeping or bedsharing. Incidents of injury or defects related to the 5in1 Rocker Bassinets can be reported to the CPSC.
