MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell revealed that his company has been severely impacted after American Express drastically reduced its credit line. Lindell expressed his concern about the situation, stating that this sudden reduction is crippling MyPillow without any reason or explanation. He further explained that American Express had been providing services to MyPillow for the past 15 years but out of the blue, the credit line was reduced from $1 million to $100,000. Lindell’s outspoken support for former President Donald Trump and his groundless election fraud claims has already affected his business, with MyPillow previously losing over $100 million in retail sales and being forced to auction off equipment. American Express has not directly commented on Lindell’s claims.

This is not the first time that Lindell has faced difficulties obtaining credit for his company. Earlier this year, Lindell was terminated as a client by Minnesota Bank & Trust due to being labeled a “reputation risk.” Lindell is currently dealing with a billion-dollar defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic over his claims about their involvement in the 2020 election. These legal battles, combined with the negative impact on his business, have put Lindell in a challenging position.

Despite Lindell’s claims, a spokesperson from American Express stated that they were unable to address the specific allegations directly. They emphasized that American Express does not make customer decisions based on personal views or political affiliations. As of now, both MyPillow and American Express have not provided further comment on the situation.
