This weekend, WWE is gearing up for the 41st installment of its iconic WrestleMania event. Simultaneously, Hulk Hogan, one of WWE’s most prominent figures, is venturing outside the wrestling arena. His beverage, Real American Beer, which was established last June, has now become available at Walmart stores.
The beverage will be stocked in Walmart locations across eight states: Florida, Illinois, Idaho, Michigan, Missouri, New York, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
Hulk Hogan, also known as Terry Bollea, expressed enthusiasm in a statement about providing Americans with a quintessential beer option. He highlighted the convenience for customers to purchase Real American Beer from Walmart, describing it as “America’s store.” Hogan emphasized that the beer is crafted for enjoyable American activities such as sports and family gatherings, and noted the ease with which people can now access it.
Terri Francis, the CEO of Real American Beer, remarked that the partnership with Walmart significantly enhances the brand’s accessibility, allowing more Americans to experience the product. Francis mentioned the company’s goal of establishing an iconic brand, underscoring the popularity and excitement observed during new launches and the rapid sales they have witnessed.
Available in 23 states, Real American Beer holds the position as WWE’s official beer and ranks just behind Samuel Adams in popularity among light beers. The name of the beer draws inspiration from the song “Real American,” which served as Hogan’s entrance music.
As WrestleMania 41 kicks off Saturday night in Las Vegas, the event continues its tradition of being a two-night spectacle for the sixth consecutive year. The main event on Saturday evening features a triple-threat match between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk. On Sunday, John Cena, who recently turned heel, will challenge Cody Rhodes for a potential record-breaking 17th world title. Rhodes previously secured the title after dethroning Reigns, whose championship reign lasted over 1,000 days.
