A large property associated with Rainer Schaller, who recently passed away, has been listed for sale on the island of Mallorca, Spain. The estate was placed on the market in late September by Schaller’s estate, with an asking price of over $78.3 million (€72 million), as reported by Alby Euesden from The Agency Mallorca.

RSG Group, the corporation established by Schaller that owns brands such as Gold’s Gym, McFit, and John Reed Fitness, verified to FOX Business that Schaller was the owner of the estate. Schaller and five others, including his partner and their two children, died in a plane crash near Costa Rica in 2022.

Following Schaller’s tragic death, RSG Group and Gold’s Gym have redirected their business priorities, which no longer prominently include Mallorca, according to a company statement. The company expressed hope that a new owner would enjoy the estate, which was considered a dream fulfilled for Schaller.

The property, designed by Schaller along with a local architect, encompasses five buildings interconnected by carefully planned gardens. It includes a primary villa, guest accommodations, a pool house, and a sports house. An infinity pool, an alpaca sanctuary, and a relaxation spa are also part of the estate, which features a sports court for activities such as tennis, soccer, and basketball.

The two large “fincas” on the property are designed with natural materials and inspirations from Morocco, Bali, and Mykonos. Other luxurious amenities include high-end kitchens, a cigar lounge, a comprehensive indoor gym, and a solar power system.

Euesden described the estate as a unique listing that could not likely be replicated due to planning challenges and the difficulty of finding multiple plots with panoramic views on rustic land. Consequently, there likely would be little room for negotiation on the listing price.

Mallorca is situated in the Mediterranean Sea, off Spain’s eastern coast.
