One person was killed and another was taken into custody after a vehicle hit two state parole officers in Colorado Springs. The driver responsible for the incident was identified as 41-year-old Justin Andrew Kula. Both officers were transported to a local hospital, where one of them was pronounced dead. The incident took place at the intersection of N. Spruce Street and W. Bijou Street, and the Colorado Springs Police Department is currently investigating the scene.
