One person was killed and another was taken into custody after a vehicle hit two state parole officers in Colorado Springs. The driver responsible for the incident was identified as 41-year-old Justin Andrew Kula. Both officers were transported to a local hospital, where one of them was pronounced dead. The incident took place at the intersection of N. Spruce Street and W. Bijou Street, and the Colorado Springs Police Department is currently investigating the scene.

The tragic event unfolded when Kula struck the two parole officers with his vehicle. The officers were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, but sadly, one of them did not survive. The Colorado Springs Police Department held a press conference to confirm the death of one officer. Kula was apprehended and is now in custody. The incident occurred at the intersection of N. Spruce Street and W. Bijou Street, where the police are conducting an investigation.
