An avalanche occurred at the Palisades Tahoe Resort on Wednesday, leading to search and rescue efforts by patrol and operations teams as well as the Placer County Sheriff’s Office. The avalanche occurred at around 9:30 a.m. on the Palisades side, above the GS gully area of KT-22, with considerable avalanche danger forecasted by the Sierra Avalanche Center.
