The weather for the next few days in Washington, D.C. is expected to be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers. Today, there will be plenty of clouds, but very few showers reaching the ground, earning the weather a rating of 6 out of 10. The forecast for the next two days includes cloudy conditions with the possibility of morning showers tomorrow, followed by partial clearing in the afternoon. However, showers will be light and sporadic. Despite the cloud cover, there will be breaks to catch a glimpse of the super harvest moon over the next couple of nights. As the weekend approaches, warm sunshine will slowly emerge, providing a mostly fine fall weekend.

Today’s weather is expected to have considerable cloud cover with the possibility of a sprinkle or two in the afternoon. The temperature will reach around 70 degrees with winds coming from the northeast at around 10 mph. Tonight, clouds will remain plentiful and there is a chance of drizzle or light showers, especially late at night. The wind will be light and temperatures will drop to around 60 degrees. Confidence in the forecast for both today and tonight is medium to high.

Tomorrow, clouds will continue to linger throughout the day, but the chance of showers will decrease steadily. Moderate northeast winds will limit the warming, resulting in temperatures mainly in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Tomorrow night, clouds may partially break up and winds will diminish. Overnight lows will drop to the upper 50s to lower 60s. Confidence in the forecast for tomorrow is medium to high.
