Heritage Action for America, the advocacy branch of the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation, has called on the House Energy and Commerce Committee to move forward with legislation aimed at enhancing online safety and privacy for children.

In a formal letter addressed to Committee Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.), President of Heritage Action, Kevin Roberts, emphasized the importance of the Kids Online Safety Act.
