A conservative social media influencer, Isabella Maria DeLuca, has been charged with storming the U.S. Capitol during the January 6th riot. Court records reveal that she was involved in passing a stolen table out of a broken window, which was later used as a weapon against the police by other rioters. DeLuca, who has a significant following on social media, was arrested on misdemeanor charges including theft of government property, disorderly conduct, and entering a restricted area.

DeLuca’s background includes working as a media associate for The Gold Institute for International Strategy and serving as an ambassador for the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA. Despite her conservative affiliations, DeLuca has faced backlash after her involvement in the Capitol riot came to light. The Gold Institute for International Strategy has since severed ties with her following the criminal charges. Videos and social media posts confirm DeLuca’s participation in the riot, where she defended the actions of the mob as a response to the perceived election fraud.

The FBI affidavit reveals that DeLuca denied entering the Capitol building on January 6 when questioned, despite video evidence and social media posts contradicting her statement. Over 1,300 individuals have been charged in connection with the Capitol riot, with DeLuca being among the many facing legal consequences for their involvement. The incident highlights the ongoing repercussions faced by those who participated in the violent uprising at the U.S. Capitol.
