Breonna Taylor’s former boyfriend, Jamarcus Glover, has been arrested on drug trafficking charges by the Saint Matthews Police Department. Court documents reveal that Glover, along with at least two other individuals, were involved in drug trafficking activities in the Taylor Berry neighborhood. Glover, who was already in jail at the time of Breonna Taylor’s death, reportedly utilized minors under the age of 18 to transport and sell illegal drugs such as heroin and fentanyl. He is now facing charges including conspiracy to traffic drugs, engaging in organized crime, and possession of a handgun as a convicted felon. Two other individuals involved in the trafficking operation were mentioned in the arrest citation but not named.

A search warrant was executed by the police at a residence on Prince William Street in Saint Matthews, where they discovered narcotics, firearms, and equipment related to drug packaging. It is worth noting that Glover was a primary target of the Louisville Metro Police Department’s drug investigation, which ultimately led to the raid on Breonna Taylor’s apartment in March 2020. During the raid, Taylor was present with her boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, who fired a shot in self-defense.

In November 2021, Glover received sentencing for three out of four separate drug-related cases, resulting in 120 days of home incarceration and a five-year probation with the condition that he remains in Mississippi. He is currently held on a $20,000 bond and is scheduled for arraignment on Monday.
