Representative LaMonica McIver (D) was officially sworn into the House on Monday evening following her victory in the special election earlier this month. At 38 years old, McIver now serves New Jersey’s 10th Congressional District, having won against Republican candidate Carmen Bucco. She will complete the term of the late Representative Donald Payne Jr., who passed away in April.
