The United States has announced the revocation of visas for South Sudanese passport holders. This decision comes as a result of South Sudan’s transitional government’s refusal to accept citizens who were expelled from the U.S., as stated by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The U.S. Department of State is taking this action, effective immediately, due to the transitional government’s failure to fully adhere to this principle.
