The October Prime Day event is approaching, but Amazon has already begun offering discounts on various tech products, including some of its own devices. Among these deals, Amazon’s most advanced streaming stick, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, has been reduced to a historic low price of $35, reflecting a 42-percent discount. This price matches the sale offered during the July Prime Day. Several Fire TV devices have also been discounted ahead of the upcoming sale event.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is recognized for its capabilities as a streaming device, providing support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. As suggested by its name, the device can stream 4K Ultra HD content and is equipped with Dolby Atmos audio support to enhance user experience.

This streaming stick incorporates Amazon’s proprietary Fire TV Ambient Experience, allowing users to display art and photos on their screens, similar to the functionality of Samsung’s The Frame TV. The device also features 16GB of storage for downloading apps and games. Additionally, it serves as an efficient cloud gaming device; it supports Xbox games via Game Pass Ultimate and integrates with Amazon Luna. It is considered a suitable option for retro gamers due to its compatibility with various emulation apps. The device comes with an upgraded remote that includes Alexa integration.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is regarded as Amazon’s best streaming dongle currently on sale, although other Fire TV devices are also available at discounted prices. These deals include:

– The Fire TV Stick Lite, priced at $18 after a $12 discount. It supports 1080p content and includes a “lite” version of the Alexa Voice Remote.
– The Fire TV Stick, available for $20 with a $20 discount, features Dolby Atmos audio support and comes with the regular Alexa Voice Remote. It also includes Wi-Fi 5 connectivity and 8GB of internal storage.
– The Fire TV Stick 4K, priced at $25 after a $25 discount, is the most affordable option for streaming 4K content while offering support for Wi-Fi 6, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos. It also enables picture-in-picture viewing for security camera feeds.
– The Fire TV Cube set-top box, priced at $100 after a $40 discount, delivers the highest performance among Fire TV devices and supports 4K HDR content, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos. It offers an upgraded Alexa Voice Remote, live picture-in-picture view, Fire TV Ambient Experience, and supports hardware connections to other devices such as cable boxes or game consoles.

Additional early Prime Day deals can be explored alongside recommendations from tech deal experts.
