Hasbro’s HasLab initiative has announced a new release focusing on the Ghostbusters franchise by recreating the iconic Ecto-1 vehicle. This new model is part of Hasbro’s sixth-scale “Plasma Series” and is notable for its size and detail, measuring nearly 24 inches long, 10 inches high, and 8 inches wide. The development team collaborated closely with Ghost Corps to ensure the model is both authentic and movie-accurate by photographing an actual Ecto-1.

Two versions of the Ectomobile are being offered: the Ghostbusters Plasma Series Ectomobile (Anniversary Edition) [Base Model] priced at $325, and the [Deluxe Model] priced at $400. The Deluxe Model includes additional features such as four new Ghostbusters figures, which are valued individually at $20 to $25, as well as accessories to transform the vehicle into the version seen in Ghostbusters II. Both editions come with additional figures, including the Librarian, Slimer, and potentially a Louis Tully figure, pending full project funding.

The HasLab project requires 12,000 backers within 45 days to proceed with production. As of the initial writing, 3,000 supporters had already pledged, suggesting the project may reach its goal soon. For further details and visuals, interested individuals are encouraged to visit Hasbro’s website.
