Samsung is set to announce its flagship phones of 2024 next week at the Unpacked event and while detailed specs and color options of the Galaxy S24 has already been known, a new leak provides insight into the phone’s European specs. The leak reveals that Samsung will use its in-house Exynos 2400 chip inside the Galaxy S24 and S24+, with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip exclusive to the Ultra model. Additionally, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ are expected to have larger display sizes and a new-gen LTPO panel capable of adjusting the refresh rate between 10-120Hz for better battery life, while the S24 Ultra is expected to have a new 200MP primary camera and a 50MP 5x optical shooter.
The European launch details have been leaked and according to a reliable source, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ will have larger display sizes and a new-gen LTPO panel capable of adjusting the refresh rate. Additionally, these phones will be equipped with Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2400 chip, while the Ultra model will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Moreover, the new leak also suggests that Samsung is not planning to change the camera setup on the S24 and S24+, while the S24 Ultra will have a new 200MP primary camera and a 50MP 5x optical shooter, as well as a large 6.8-inch display.
The leak also indicates that the base Galaxy S24 will come with 8GB RAM, and the S24+ and Ultra models will ship with 12GB RAM, with storage options ranging from 256GB to a 1TB Ultra variant. Furthermore, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ might retain the camera setups from the previous model, and videos in 8K resolution at 30fps might be possible with these models. The Galaxy S24 is said to use a 4,000mAh battery, while the S24+ is expected to be equipped with a 4,900mAh battery, both with faster charging speeds compared to the previous models.
