Motorola is set to unveil its latest flagship phone, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, on April 3, with India being the first market to receive the device. While the phone may be called the Motorola Edge Plus (2024) in the US and the Motorola X50 Ultra in China, its key specifications have been revealed ahead of the official launch. The Edge 50 Pro features a 6.7-inch pOLED 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 50MP primary camera, and AI-enhanced camera features.
One of the standout features of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is its AI capabilities, offering unique AI wallpaper generation similar to Pixel 8 and Galaxy S24. Additionally, the phone boasts AI-enhanced images and Adaptive Stabilization for shake-free outputs and improved clarity in 50x Hybrid Zoom. Other AI features include auto-focus tracking and a new Tilt Mode for enhanced photography experiences. While the phone’s chipset has not been officially confirmed by Motorola, expectations are high for the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor to power the Edge 50 Pro.
The upcoming flagship from Motorola is expected to come equipped with a 13MP ultrawide camera, a 4,500mAh battery, 125W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging, among other premium features. With an emphasis on AI integration in its camera system and cutting-edge technology in display and performance aspects, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is poised to make a splash in the competitive smartphone market upon its official release.
