Oppo has released its latest foldable smartphone, the Find N3, featuring a conventional design and new software features to enhance multitasking. The device boasts a 7.8-inch foldable AMOLED display with minimal creases and a self-healing coating to maintain its pristine condition. It also offers a 6.3-inch cover display with improved display properties, including a 1-120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,800 nits peak brightness. Additionally, the Find N3 features upgraded Hasselblad-branded rear cameras, including a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
In terms of durability, Oppo’s Find N3 benefits from a third-generation Flexion hinge, carbon fiber support plates, and a weather-sealing process, making it 36% more resistant to warping than previous foldable models. The device has also been certified by TÜV Rheinland for its 1,000,000-fold durability, outperforming its competitors. Photography enhancements include Oppo Computational Photography (OCP), which fine-tunes each HDR shot “pixel by pixel” for more natural images, and a ProXDR display mode that optimizes the screen’s peak brightness to make photos stand out. The Find N3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, offers 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, and features a 4,800mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC charging support.
The Find N3 comes with Oppo’s ColorOS 13.2 software, which introduces multitasking features such as the “Global Taskbar” for quick app launching and a “Boundless View” feature that allows users to have up to three apps in a horizontal split-screen view. Other handy features from previous models, such as two-finger split screen and FlexForm Capture, are also included. The device is available in “champagne gold” and “classic black” and is set to launch globally with a price tag of S$2,399 (around US$1,745), which represents a significant increase from the previous model. Pre-orders for the Find N3 will begin in Singapore on October 20th, and Oppo promises four years of software updates and five years of security updates for the device.
