Overwatch 2 Season 7: Rise of Darkness has arrived, introducing a new battle pass centered around Halloween and Blizzard’s Diablo franchise. The battle pass consists of 80 tiers and features eerie legendary skins like Ghostly Bride Widowmaker and Victorian Doll Echo. Additional legendary skins include Azmodan Wrecking Ball, resembling the Diablo boss, Night Raven Illari, and Diesel Baron Ramattra. The Mythic skin, awarded at the end of the battle pass, is Onryō Hanzo, inspired by the ghosts found in Japanese folklore. While Season 7 does not introduce a new hero, the battle pass brings a wealth of chilling cosmetic items.
The battle pass can be obtained for 1,000 Coins (~$10 USD), but there is also an impressive bundle available for $40 USD. This bundle includes the Lilith Moira skin, Inarius Pharah skin, Pumpkin Bastion skin, 2,000 Coins (~$20 USD), 20 battle pass tiers, and the premium battle pass itself. Alongside the launch of Season 7, several significant updates have been made to Overwatch 2, such as the rework of Sombra and the addition of a new control point map. Additionally, the Halloween Terror event returns, featuring the reemergence of spooky skins that can be purchased with in-game Credits, and a new Diablo-themed PvE event called Trials of Sanctuary.
In addition to legendary skins, the premium battle pass offers a wide range of other cosmetic items, including sprays, icons, player cards, and voicelines. The free tiers of the battle pass also include Credits, which can be spent in the Halloween Terror event shop or on previously released hero skins. The Overwatch 2 Season 7: Rise of Darkness battle pass provides players with a plethora of frightening goodies to enhance their gameplay experience.
