Amazon is aiming to attract more users to its Music Unlimited service with a special offer ahead of Prime Day. New users, who have not previously subscribed, can receive three months of Music Unlimited at no cost. Prime members who are new to the service can extend this trial to four months without additional charges. Typically, Music Unlimited is priced at $11 per month for non-Prime members and $10 per month for Prime members.
For existing subscribers, Amazon is also providing an incentive. Users with an individual plan under Amazon Music Unlimited can upgrade to the Family Plan free of charge for two months.
Amazon Music Unlimited offers over 100 million songs, many available in high definition and spatial audio formats. Additionally, the service provides ad-free versions of numerous popular podcasts. While it may not be the most prominent choice for streaming music, the HD music catalog sets it apart from competitors like Spotify, which does not yet offer this feature.
