Samsung is reintroducing its FE series, starting with the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone. Unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy S21 FE, the S23 FE is priced more reasonably at $599 and offers a 6.4-inch 120Hz OLED display with full IP68 water and dust resistance. The phone also comes in a range of fun colors, including mint, cream, graphite, and purple. It features 8GB of RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, wireless charging, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. Additionally, Samsung is including a pair of Galaxy Buds FE with active noise cancellation for $99.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE is another addition to the FE series, featuring a 10.9-inch LCD display (12.4 inches for the S9 FE Plus) with a 90Hz refresh rate. It uses an Exynos 1380 chipset and comes with an S Pen stylus and full IP68 rating. The tablet is available in gray, mint, silver, and lavender colors. As for the Galaxy Buds FE, they offer up to six hours of playback with active noise cancellation and are rated IPX2 for water resistance. The buds come in graphite and white colors.
The Galaxy S23 FE will be released on October 26th, while the Galaxy Buds FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE, and S9 FE Plus will be available from select carriers on October 5th and on Samsung’s website from October 10th. With competitive pricing and a range of features, Samsung aims to provide value and options for consumers in its FE series lineup.
