Sony is set to introduce new “Chroma” console covers for the PlayStation 5 Slim, available in pearl, indigo, and teal. These covers will be complemented by matching DualSense controllers.
The Chroma console covers are priced at $64.99 USD, while the DualSense controllers will cost $79.99 USD. The Chroma pearl and indigo accessories are scheduled for release on November 7th, followed by the teal variant on January 23, 2025. The new color options are vivid and striking, presenting a notable contrast to the existing blue, red, and gray versions of the PS5 Slim.
Preorders for the Chroma collection, including both console covers and controllers, will be available starting October 3rd. The collection will be accessible in several countries: the US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Additionally, Sony will open preorders for the 30th Anniversary PS5 and PS5 Pro on September 26th, featuring the original 1995 PlayStation colors. It is not yet confirmed if Sony plans to sell these retro grey covers separately.
