The upcoming Apple Vision Pro headset is anticipated to be a major new product for the tech giant, and details about the packaging have recently been revealed. The box is consistent with Apple’s typical design aesthetic, featuring the sliding lid that is commonly used for other products. While there wasn’t much with regards to innovation in the design of the packaging, it was noted that the size of the box is enormous, filling the entire lap of a customer. This large size is necessary in order to accommodate various components of the Vision Pro headset such as the Solo Knit Band, Dual Loop Band, Light Seal cushions, and more.

It was also revealed that the Vision Pro headset is set to be launched on Friday, February 2, and accompanying the launch will be a commemorative shopping bag for consumers who purchase or pick-up the Vision Pro in-store, adding an interesting and unique touch to the unveiling of this highly anticipated product. The device will completely fill the vast space of the oblong box, indicating the substantial quantity of accessories that will be included with the main headset. And although the Vision Pro’s box is much larger than comparable devices such as the Mac Studio, inside the differences are even more apparent, with no grab-handle on top. The simplicity of the box design may be a disappointment for some users who are hoping for an exciting new package, but with the release only a few weeks away, anticipation for the Vision Pro is at an all-time high.

In addition, for those excited about new Apple products, another significant release expected in the spring of this year includes a new iPad Air, iPad Pro, and MacBook Air models. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, these highly anticipated products are set to be released as early as March or April. The release will be followed up by Apple’s annual developers conference WWDC in June. Furthermore, amid other notable Apple news, the highly anticipated watchOS 10.3 has been released. Apple today announced that watchOS 10.3 is now available, marking the third major update to the watchOS 10 operating system since its release in September.
