As of October 2, 2024, the latest tablet deals in anticipation of early October Prime Day have been announced. These deals include noteworthy discounts from leading technology brands such as Amazon, Apple, and Samsung.

Amazon is capitalizing on its upcoming “Prime Big Deal Days,” set for October 8 and 9, by offering early deals on a variety of products, including tablets. A notable offer is the heavily discounted new Fire HD 8 tablet. Originally revealed in a post on the About Amazon blog, the updated 8-inch tablet boasts enhanced RAM and an improved camera compared to the previous 2022 model. It also includes several new generative AI features that will soon be available on compatible Fire tablets. The standard model, featuring 32GB of storage, is available for $54.99, down from the initial $99.99, during the promotional period.

The Fire HD 8 is part of a group of nine Fire tablets experiencing significant price reductions ahead of the 48-hour savings event. This includes top-tier Amazon tablets and models designed specifically for children, which come equipped with protective cases, parental controls, age-appropriate content, and a two-year worry-free guarantee.

In the realm of Apple products, significant savings have also been noted on select iPad models, including the new 13-inch iPad Pro powered by the M4 chip. Though these Apple deals are not officially part of Amazon’s pre-Prime Big Deal Days promotions, the depth of discounts proves appealing. Specifically, the 256GB base model of the iPad Pro is available for $1,198, marking a $101 savings and the lowest price found on Amazon since its release.

Conversely, the Samsung Galaxy Tab lineup sales are less enticing, with no models close to their record low prices at the time of reporting. There are no current deals on Google Pixel tablets at Amazon. However, these items are expected to see price reductions once Prime Big Deal Days commences.

Further details about current Prime Day tablet deals are provided below. Notably, prices labeled with a 🔥 indicate an all-time low.
