Gamma, the billion-dollar-backed company founded by Larry Jackson, has announced a partnership with rapper Rick Ross and his Maybach Music Group. The partnership will involve Ross releasing music and leading multimedia projects. Ross, a nine-time Grammy-nominated artist and entrepreneur, is known for his work as the CEO of Maybach Music Group and his collaborations with other superstars. Breyon Prescott, Ross’s long-time business partner, will also join Gamma and bring his Chameleon Entertainment label and catalog to the company. Prescott, an experienced label executive and artist manager, will serve as the Executive Vice President, Content, and continue managing the music career of Jamie Foxx.

Larry Jackson, CEO and Co-founder of Gamma, stated that Rick Ross embodies the multimedia and multi-faceted content pioneer that the company aims to amplify. Jackson expressed his excitement about the partnership and the opportunity to work with Ross, who he considers a music legend. Similarly, Ross emphasized the historic potential of their collaboration and praised Gamma’s position in the industry. Breyon Prescott shared his excitement about joining the passionate team at Gamma and his intention to introduce fresh talent and compelling ventures. The partnership with Ross comes after Gamma’s recent collaboration with French Montana and its strategic acquisitions, including Vydia and the distribution of the Death Row Records catalog.

In addition to the partnership with Rick Ross, Gamma has been expanding its operations and partnerships in various markets. The company has recently entered into emerging markets like Africa and the Middle East, with Sipho Dlamini leading the expansion as President, Africa & Middle East, and Naomi Campbell serving as Special Advisor, Africa & Middle East. With the addition of these senior executives, Larry Gaaga and Dany Neville, Gamma aims to further strengthen its commitment to these regions. Gamma’s rapid growth and strategic alliances with industry leaders are positioning the company as a powerful force in the music and multimedia industry.
