U.S. automaker Tesla has released an updated version of its Model Y in China, featuring minor changes to the exterior and interior. The new model includes a redesigned wheel design, while the starting price remains unchanged at 263,900 yuan ($36,146). The Model Y is Tesla’s best-selling global vehicle. This update comes after Tesla introduced a restyled version of the Model 3 with an extended driving range, which is manufactured at its Shanghai factory and made available in China and other export markets.

The updated version of the Model Y in China showcases Tesla’s commitment to continuously improving its electric vehicle offerings. By introducing new design elements and features, the company aims to enhance the overall driving experience for customers. Despite the minor changes, Tesla has maintained the same starting price, making the Model Y an attractive option for Chinese consumers looking for an electric SUV.
