Cincinnati Police responded to a shooting incident near the Target in Western Hills Plaza in Cheviot. A 21-year-old individual was shot in the arm on Glenmore Avenue and later brought to the Target by their brother. The victim was discovered inside the Target lobby and promptly taken to the UC Medical Center, with the injuries not considered life-threatening. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed.

In the Target parking lot, a car was found with several shell casings, indicating that it had also been shot at. Interestingly, law enforcement has not discovered any shell casings in the immediate area where the shooting occurred, except for those found inside the vehicle. Authorities have detained one suspect, but have not released any details about their identity. Reports from witnesses and calls about a white car driving recklessly suggest that a white vehicle may have been involved in the incident.

As an ongoing investigation, further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
