The winning numbers drawn on Saturday were 19, 30, 37, 44, and 46, with a red Powerball number of 22. While no ticket matched all six numbers, over 2.5 million tickets won smaller prizes with partial matches. Five tickets purchased in Florida, Maryland, Michigan, and Pennsylvania matched the first five numbers and earned $1 million prizes. Two other tickets purchased in Indiana and North Carolina also matched the five white balls and won $2 million prizes due to the Power Play multiplier. The next Powerball drawing is set for Monday night, October 2.
The estimated $1.04 billion Powerball jackpot has a cash value of $478.2 million. If there is a winner during Monday’s draw, they will have the option to receive the prize in annual annuities or a lump sum payment. The annuity option is worth $1.04 billion, while the lump sum option is worth $478.2 million. Both estimates are pretax.
