Apple fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the iPhone 16 this fall, with leaks providing a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming models. While the Pro versions are set to receive upgrades, the standard iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are also rumored to offer enticing features like a new display technology, Capture button, and special video capture mode. The introduction of generative AI features is also generating excitement, with a preview expected at Apple’s WWDC 2024 developers conference in June.

One of the most talked-about upgrades for the iPhone 16 is the support for recording spatial videos, a feature previously exclusive to Apple’s Vision Pro headset. With a shift in the rear camera positioning, the iPhone 16 is likely to support spatial video recording. Additionally, rumors suggest a thinner bezel and brighter display, potentially using new OLED material from Samsung or even a switch to MicroLED technology, enhancing power efficiency and display brightness.

Furthermore, the iPhone 16 is rumored to feature a new Capture button for easy camera access, distinguishing itself with its solid-state capacitive design. Another notable upgrade is the possibility of all models running on the A18 chip, offering improved performance. Generative AI features, like Siri Summarization, could elevate the user experience, as well as the addition of 256GB base storage and Wi-Fi 6e support, setting new standards for flagship smartphones.
