Solos has introduced its new AirGo3 smartglasses, which offer a fresh approach to connected eyewear with an emphasis on audio features, comfort, usability, modular design, and an affordable price. Priced between $199 and $299, the AirGo3 glasses are easy to set up and use. They boast impressive audio quality, a user-friendly companion app, numerous smart features, and a sleek design. While they are augmented reality glasses, they don’t have a heads-up display screen like Google Glass. Instead, all the technology is packed into the arms and frame of the glasses, allowing for easy customization. Solos envisions incorporating a heads-up display when display technology advances.

Solos co-founder Kenneth Fan explained that the company aimed to create an excellent eyewear product that was affordable and comfortable. They also discovered that they could incorporate a range of features around audio. While the AirGo3 glasses don’t have cameras like Meta’s Ray-Ban Smart Glasses, they successfully blend advanced technology with a normal glasses appearance. This represents a significant step forward for smartglasses in terms of usability and integration. The standout features of the AirGo3 glasses include 100 decibel speakers on each side, live translation using AI, and an interactive chat feature.

Overall, the AirGo3 smartglasses offer a unique and affordable alternative to traditional augmented reality glasses. Their emphasis on audio features, comfort, and modular design sets them apart while maintaining a sleek and stylish appearance. Solos plans to incorporate a heads-up display in future iterations of the product as display technology advances. With the integration of advanced technology into everyday glasses, the AirGo3 represents a significant step forward for smartglasses in terms of usability and practicality.
