Sony is revamping its approach to mainstream wireless headphones and speakers by introducing a new brand called ULT Power Sound. This new line of products includes three speakers and one pair of headphones that prioritize lively, bass-forward sound. Gone are the days of just using model numbers to identify devices, as Sony aims to create a more cohesive brand identity with ULT Power Sound. Each product in this lineup features an ULT button that allows users to switch between different sound modes to adjust the bass emphasis to their liking, reminiscent of Sony’s old Extra Bass mode.

Leading the charge is the ULT Tower 10, a massive 64-pound party speaker with various features like synchronized music lights, an included microphone for karaoke, and omnidirectional sound. At a price of $1,199, this speaker offers overwhelming power and 34 LED light zones for an immersive experience. Stepping down in size and price is the ULT Field 7, a flagship Bluetooth speaker priced at $499. This speaker boasts over 30 hours of battery life, IP67 rating against dust and water, and a seven-band EQ for audio customization, making it a versatile option for users on the go. For those seeking portability, the compact ULT Field 1 speaker delivers strong bass in a smaller package, making it an ideal choice for outdoor activities with its 12-hour battery life and speakerphone functionality. Additionally, Sony introduces the ULT Wear, a new set of noise-canceling wireless headphones priced at $199.99, tailored for bass lovers with features like on-ear detection, upgraded noise cancellation, head-tracking spatial audio, and fast charging.
