Brown aims to bring a unique perspective to the race and highlight issues such as national security and veterans’ affairs. As a member of the Republican Party, he aligns himself with conservative principles and seeks to represent his constituents with a focus on limited government, individual liberty, and economic growth. Brown’s bid for the US Senate reflects his commitment to public service and his desire to make a difference in Nevada’s political landscape.

Sam Brown, a Republican U.S. Army combat veteran, has announced his candidacy for the party’s nomination to challenge Democratic U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen in Nevada in 2024. Brown placed second in Nevada’s Republican Senate primary last year and is part of the Republican strategy of recruiting military veterans to run for congressional offices.

He aims to compete for one of the competitive Senate seats that Democrats will need to defend next year to maintain their narrow majority in the chamber. Brown’s rivals for the Republican nomination include former Nevada state Representative Jim Marchant and Jeffrey Ross Gunter, a former U.S. ambassador to Iceland under President Donald Trump.
