Samsung’s upcoming Fan Edition Galaxy S23 smartphone is set to launch in India on October 4, alongside other major markets. While its pricing in India is yet to be revealed, the popularity of Samsung’s Fan Edition smartphones in the country can be attributed to their aggressive pricing, making it a hit in price-sensitive markets. The confirmation of the launch date was made by Samsung India on its Twitter page, where the company had teased the arrival of the “new epic” earlier. It has been revealed that Indian customers will receive the Exynos 2200 variant of the Galaxy S23 FE.

Interestingly, the Exynos 2200 variant will also be launched in most other markets, with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 version being exclusive to select countries such as the US and Canada. Samsung had previously abandoned the Exynos chipset for the Galaxy S23 series but has chosen to integrate it once again for the Galaxy S23 FE, focusing more on its in-house chip. It remains uncertain whether India will receive both variants of the phone, as Samsung has previously introduced the Snapdragon variant in India at a later time. However, given that the Galaxy S23 FE is equipped with chips that were introduced over a year ago, Samsung may choose not to offer both variants in the country this time.

In conclusion, Samsung has announced the launch date for the Galaxy S23 FE in India, which is highly anticipated due to its competitive pricing strategy. While the price reduction for the device remains speculative, Samsung India has confirmed that the Exynos 2200 variant will be available in the country. The company’s decision to prioritize its in-house chip for the Galaxy S23 FE marks a departure from its previous approach. It remains to be seen if India will receive both variants, as Samsung may choose to forgo the Snapdragon version this time.
